A CONCERT OF CELEBRATION OF SOUL /MOTOWN MUSIC

The Royal Albert Hall

Sunday 4th October 2026 at 7.30pm

Get ready for another unmissable celebration of soul music with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra as the Hall is filled with the seminal sounds of the iconic Motown label, as well as other sensational soul artists of the era.

This get-up-and-dance concert features songs by the artists who brought gospel, blues and soul music to new heights such as: Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, Jackson 5, Martha Reeves and, the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin.

We are thrilled to, once again, be joined by star vocalists Gloria Onitiri and Trevor Dion Nicholas for a host of classic Motown anthems, including: R.E.S.P.E.C.T.Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted, You Can’t Hurry Love and My Girl.

We are also thrilled to welcome back special guest presenter, Angie Greaves (Smooth Radio).

Step inside Sun Records with the Tony Award-winning musical Million Dollar Quartet at the Arts at Marble Arch Theatre. Witness one legendary night when four music icons collided in the recording studio.

On December 4, 1956, four rock ‘n’ roll legends walked into Sun Records in Memphis – and music history was made. Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins find themselves together in the studio, sparking an impromptu jam session that becomes the stuff of legend.

Packed with rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B and country hits, Million Dollar Quartet brings this extraordinary night to life with live performances of “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Walk the Line” and more.

Expect legendary music, backstage drama and plenty of rock ‘n’ roll attitude.

Million Dollar Quartet was nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical.
